Nothing Lasts Forever

Nothing Lasts Forever

Nothing lasts forever
Its just a matter of time
Hardwork, effort, endeavor
Nothing can stem the tide.

Bad name, illness, misfortune,
On coming, must leave
Night is always followed by noon,
Post darkest hour, sun shall arrive.

Success, power, fame and money,
Fleet-footed sisters;
Disloyal friends upon your journey
You blink, they disappear.

Bonds of love, they are so weak
Its all an illusion.
Its permanent, you just might think;
But end must the relation.

Nothing lasts forever
Its just a matter of time
Hardwork, effort, endeavor
Nothing can stem the tide.

(P.S: Its supposed to be a song and I have set it to a tune, but given my music skills, its quite pathetic....)

    What I was trying to express is that all relations must end- either by death or otherwise.
    Thanks......
